“I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Helen personally for over 20 years. She’s an accomplished professional who has worked high-profile jobs in 3 continents. I can attest to her professionalism, drive, work ethic, and extremely high standards.
As a returnee with 10 years off work to raise my six kids, when Dr. Helen informed me about her non-profit and the value proposition, I immediately signed up knowing she would be the ideal person to partner with in this phase of my re-entry into Corporate America.
From the quality of books, intense discussions, and depth of experience shared during the course, I am reassured I made the best decision.”

Who This Is For
A Program Built Exclusively for Women of Color
We recognize the unique challenges women of color face in the workforce—from bias to burnout to being underestimated. Our program is designed to provide a safe, strategic, and supportive pathway to leadership. We start here so we can rise together.
Is This You?
This program is designed for PMP®-certified women of color—and those performing project work without formal training—who are ready to confidently manage real projects. If you identify with any of the following, this program is for you:
- You’ve passed the PMP® exam, but still feel unprepared to manage a real project from start to finish.
- You’ve never created key project documents like a schedule, risk register, or stakeholder plan—and you’re afraid it shows.
- You’re in meetings silently Googling terms like Gantt Chart, RAID log, or Earned Value, hoping no one asks you to explain them.
- You’ve been asked to lead a project at work, but feel like you’re learning everything on the fly.
- You work in a role like coordinator, analyst, or assistant but do the job of a project manager—without the title, confidence, or toolkit.
- You’ve returned to work after a personal or caregiving break and want a safe space to rebuild your skills.
- You want real, hands-on experience creating artifacts that you can confidently present in interviews or on the job.
- You’re tired of faking it—you want to feel confident, prepared, and respected in your role as a project manager.
- You’re looking to upskill, shift industries, or grow into leadership roles—you want to feel you earned your place and you can thrive in your role.
If you nodded "yes" to even one of these, you’re ready for Applied Project Management Labs.
